Accomplishments this past week: Hill led the Owls with two hits in a 7-6 win over Madison. He also had a home run in the game.

What did you do well?

“I made sure I didn’t strike out and hit the ball as hard as I could. I made sure that I didn’t have any fielding errors and was always focused on every play in the infield and outfield.”

Do you do anything special to prepare?

“After practice, I go home and work on more drills to get better at bat speed, fielding and throwing. So after practice, I go home and practice more to get better.”

Favorite drink: Sweet tea

Favorite food: Chicken

Favorite music genre/artists: Rap, Lil Skies and 6lack

Favorite book: “A Soldier’s Heart”

Favorite class: Finite math

Best advice?

“No matter how hard things may get in your life, always work hard and something great will come out of it for you.”

If you could travel anywhere and why?

“California because a lot of famous people live there.”

Athletics goals?

“Buy coach Richey a turf baseball field, win state in baseball, go to college, become successful in whatever career path I choose.”

Accomplishments this past week: Holman set the school record in the mile with a time of 5:23.01.

How were you able to perform to your fullest potential this past week?

“Pushed myself and wanted to beat the record.”

“No, just tried my best to be my best.”
