Owls come up clutch

Seymour won its season-opener 3-2 at Jeffersonville Tuesday.
Peyton Levine won 6-1, 6-0 over Adalaid Scott at No. 2 singles and Kirby Hill bested Lydia Kittrell 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 at No. 3.
The Owls’ Mallory Moore and Kristina Griffin defeated Kassie Brown and Loran Hals 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1 doubles to help secure the victory.
Avery Ragon and Chloe Baker lost 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (3) at No. 2 doubles and Sandra Cerino fell 6-4, 6-4 at No. 1 singles for SHS.
Seymour hosts Columbus North tonight.
