Charles Moman plans to talk about his experiences in a Jackson County Public Library program, Return to Romania, at 6 p.m. April 16 in the meeting room at the library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

The free program is open to adults and teens 12 or older. Registration is required by April 14 by visiting myjclibrary.org/events or calling 812-523-4636.

Moman recently joined Eva Kor, an Auschwitz and Dr. Mengele torture survivor, for a third trip to Romania and Hungary and to Yad Vashem in Israel. Moman will present a multimedia presentation of these emotional trips along with information about his work with Kor for the CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center in Terre Haute.

Now retired and participating in ultra-trail running, Moman taught elementary school music in Seymour for more than 30 years. He is a member of the praise band at Community Church of Columbus and enjoys photography and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
