Countryside Park is in need of some tender loving care.

The winter has taken a toll on the picnic area and trails, and there are a lot of limbs down.

The Crothersville Parks Board is seeking volunteers to help with cleaning up the park beginning around 2 p.m. Saturday at the park along County Road 1000E.

People should bring work gloves and possibly rakes, shovels and saws to help the parks board get the area back to what it should be.
