Rain postpones games

A pair of high school games were cancelled on Monday due to the weather.

Trinity Lutheran’s home contest with Edinburgh has been moved to Friday and Seymour softball’s game at Brown County is being rescheduled.

SHS accepting HOF nominations

The Seymour High School athletic department is accepting nominations for its Fall of Fame class of 2019 through the end of this week.

Individuals may nominate athletes or teams who have been out of high school at least 20 years prior to being eligible for nomination.

A team is inducted and honored by the HOF with a team plaque. Individuals from the team are eligible for induction as an individual.

An individual who has made outstanding contributions to athletics in some capacity other than athletes, such as coach, athletic administrator, sports medicine, sports media or financial supporter may be nominated.

Nomination forms are available on the Seymour Athletic Department website. Inductees into the Hall of Fame will be selected by a board of directors.

The class of 2019 will be inducted in December during the home basketball game against Jennings County.
