The American Sewing Guild neighborhood group plans to meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. April 6 at Bartholomew County REMC, 169 Deaver Road, Columbus.

The guild’s monthly meetings focus on learning a new sewing or creative skill or working on one of its philanthropic sewing projects.

The April 6 meeting presentation will be about the skill of appliqué by hand and machine. Anyone interested in attending may bring their latest project to show and tell.

Sewing enthusiasts of all ages and skills are welcome. The group meets on the first Saturday of each month.
