Mrs. Larna Janrose Stafford, 82, of Seymour, formerly of Kevil, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Lutheran Community Home. She was born in Barlow, KY to the late Virgil and Ellen (Penn) Perkins.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 19 at 11 a.m. with Revs. Ben Yee and Robin Everhart officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 5-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Jan was a member of Central Christian Church; she possessed a strong Christian faith and professed Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Eastern Star and actively involved in the Emmaus Community.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid UK Basketball fan. She enjoyed square dancing, camping, and traveling. She was a member of American Red Cross and helped organize blood drives. She enjoyed caring for people within her community.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Henry Stafford; children, Shelley (Dean) Alford, Lisa (Brent) Fleming and Chris (Lara) Stafford; grandchildren, Thomas Fleming, Stephen Fleming, Stefan Anderson, Nicholaus Trail, Anna Brumfield, Elizabeth Stafford and Joshua Stafford; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Neal Perkins; and sisters-in-law, Alice Perkins and Mary Doris Perkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Ellen Perkins; and brother, Robert Jerl Perkins.
