Library offering free programs for teens

The Jackson County Public Library offers free programming for teens in grades 6 through 12 in the Teen Scene at Seymour and Crothersville libraries.

Registration is required for some programs, and space is limited. Sign up today at myjclibrary.org/events

Seymour

  • Dorm Room Cuisine: 4:30 p.m. March 25, pepperoni pizza sticks (limit 10); 5 p.m. April 15, guacamole with Molly Marshall from Purdue Extension Jackson County (limit 10)
  • STEM Challenge: 4:30 p.m. April 2, Littlebits (limit 10)
  • National Poetry Month: 5 p.m. April 16, Exquisite Corpse game
  • Basic Photography: 6 p.m. May 21, ages 16 and up (limit 15)
  • Teen Advisory Group: 5 p.m. April 3
  • Retro Gaming: 4:30 p.m. today and April 11
  • Teen Flicks: 1 p.m. April 13, "Harry and the Hendersons," rated PG

Crothersville

  • Build Your Own Video Game: 5 p.m. March 27, Bloxels (limit 15)
  • Make Your Own Pancakes: 5 p.m. April 25 (limit 15)
