The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting March 5 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church with President Linda Eggersman presiding.

Matt Nieman, director of youth ministry, led the group in singing "Glory Be to Jesus." He presented the topic "Side Door Evangelism," emphasizing evangelism often occurs where and when we least expect it and that we can share our faith in those everyday situations.

Birthdays for February and March were acknowledged, and nursing home visitations were discussed. The committee for the February meeting was thanked for the preparations and for the program, Jubilee Art, presented by Patti Miller.

The distribution of funds for the year was reviewed and approved.

Tables were decorated with a St. Patrick’s Day theme, and chocolate eclair cake was served. Hostesses for the evening were chairwomen Ester Becker, Carolyn Alberring and Jan Blomenberg.

Marie Harmon closed with the devotion "I Am with You" and led the group in the Lord’s Prayer.

The next meeting will be April 2 at the church.
