Delta Kappa Gamma inducts new members

The Gamma Tau chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma met Feb. 19 at Central Christian Church in Seymour.

The annual pitch-in dinner was held, and Becky Miller was the chairwoman. The speaker for the meeting was Deb Cruser, who spoke on the topic of “Mindfulness.”

President Terrye Davidson, with the assistance of Karen Dobrinski, Nancy Cherry and Mindy Clay, conducted the induction ceremony for new members Debra Atchison, Deanna Beavers, Karen Brigdon, Ellen Gentry, Audra Lorey and RaeAnn Wintin.

The business meeting was conducted after the induction ceremony.

Nancy Durham invited all members to attend the state conference April 26 through 28 in Lawrenceburg. Anyone interested in attending needs to contact Davidson for information.

Members gave donations to Court Appointed Special Advocates for tote bags.

“Glad You Were Here” gifts were given to Debbie Baker-Schneider, Wintin and Jenni Hunnicutt.

The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. April 16 at Brownstown United Methodist Church.
