Jackson County Public Library book discussion groups plan to gather to discuss book themes, writing styles, characters and more this month.
The groups are open to adults, and there is no attendance requirement. The books are available to borrow at the library checkout desks.
The Tuesday Night Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. They will discuss their monthly book March 12 at Cracker Barrel, 211 N. Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour. Information services manager Janet Hensen will lead the review of “The Bean Trees” by Barbara Kingsolver. Everyone attending should bring money if they plan to eat.
Fantastic Fiction will discuss “Where the Game Matters Most” by William Gildea at 11 a.m. March 15 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St. Led by circulation assistant Jordann Malone, this group meets on the third Friday of each month.
The book discussion group at the Crothersville Library, which meets on the third Wednesday of each month, will gather and share thoughts on “The Nix” by Nathan Hill at 6 p.m. March 20 at the library, 120 W. Main St., Crothersville.
The Medora Library discussion group will meet at 5:30 p.m. March 25 to talk about “Brush of Wings” by Karen Kingsbury. Circulation manager Christina Hime leads the group that meets on the fourth Monday each month at the library, 27 W. Main St., Medora.
