Cribbage program set at library

Adults are invited to play cribbage, a card game for two to four players, at 5:30 p.m. March 7 and 21 at tables near the computer lab upstairs at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Experienced players are welcome, and volunteers Terri and Ed DeVoe will teach beginners. Registration is not required for the free program.

Cribbage is a card game of numbers, strategy and fun. A pegboard is used to score the game. A characteristic feature of cribbage is the crib, and the object is to make counting combinations for points that are scored on a cribbage board. Cards and boards are provided.
