Chamber plans to recognize community award winners

The Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce will host its 88th annual awards dinner March 7 at Celebrations, 357 Tanger Blvd., Suite 101, Seymour.

Highlights of the evening include a year-in-review and a look ahead for the chamber and presentation of community awards.

2019 winners are Mindy Roeder, Rising Star Award; B.loved, Small Business of the Year Award; Martha Bloch (elementary school), Jennifer Miller (middle school) and Kelly Reasoner (high school), Teacher of the Year awards; Rose Acre Farms, Corporate Citizen of the Year Award; and Marshall Royalty, Citizenship Award.

Reservations to attend the dinner may be made by visiting the chamber website at seymourchamber.com, emailing [email protected] or calling 812-522-3681. Reservations are $40 per person.

Full tables of eight individuals need to contact the chamber office directly for seating arrangements.

The dinner will begin with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6:15 p.m. with the program and award presentations immediately following.
