Beacon Credit Union announces staffing changes

Beacon Credit Union recently announced two staffing changes, including the appointment of Amy Steitz as manager of the Seymour location that opened in December 2018.

In her new role, Steitz will monitor and develop branch growth, respond to member inquiries regarding credit union products and services and engage with the Seymour community all while developing and motivating staff to ensure professional, courteous and prompt service to Beacon’s member-owners.

Steitz has more than 25 years of financial banking experience. She previously was employed by Home Federal/Indiana Bank and Trust/Old National Bank in various capacities, from customer service associate to assistant vice president/manager.

Steitz received her bachelor’s degree in science management from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007 with a minor in human services and religious studies. She is Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry certified in real estate loans.

Jake Inman of North Vernon has been named vice president of branch operations for the firm’s south division.

In his new role, Inman will direct branch operations by translating corporate strategic objectives into service and business development initiatives for the Rushville and Seymour markets while creating and maintaining an environment that focuses on member service.

Inman began his role at Beacon Credit Union in March 2018 as branch operations manager in the Rushville and Seymour markets.

Inman has more than eight years of financial banking experience and previously was employed by MainSource Bank as a business development officer overseeing branch operations in North Vernon.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Hanover College.
