PARIS CROSSING

Clebert L. “Bill” Kinney, age 82 of Paris Crossing, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Seymour Crossing. Born October 23, 1936 in Scott County, he was the son of Hubert “Bill” and Margaret (Redman) Kinney. On August 5, 1956 in Uniontown, he married Helen Marie Foster.

Bill retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1988 and then worked several years farming with Dave Schepman and family. He was a member of the Uniontown Baptist Church where he formerly served as a Trustee and served on the Uniontown Cemetery Board. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved IU Basketball. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Helen; children, Sandra (Craig) Kuehn and Karen (Jerry) Owens both of Seymour and Clinton “CD” (Susan) Kinney of Paris Crossing; grandchildren, Rebekah (Glenn) Hickey, Judah (Elizabeth) Kuehn, Nicole Amper-Kuehn, Jessica (Calvin) Phillips, Hannah (Jon) Schroeder, Mariah Kinney, Carissa Kinney and Calin Kinney; great-grandchildren, Ella, Levi, Jacob, Noah, and Scarlett; siblings, Marcia Bush of Sheffield, AL, Danny (Beverly) Kinney of North Vernon and DeEtta (Marvin) Chasteen of Austin. Bill also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Earl “Bud” Bush.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery. Memorials can be given at the funeral home in Bill’s memory to Go to Nations Missionary Fund for Native Pastors or the Uniontown Cemetery.
