The Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Indiana will host a walk this month as part of an effort to raise awareness and money for research, advocacy and support.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be Sept. 30 at Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus, with on-site registration beginning at noon and an opening ceremony planned at 1:15 p.m. The walk will begin after the ceremony.

Individuals who plan to participate in the walk are encouraged to preregister online by visiting alz.org/indiana/walk. Participants can join a team, sign up as a team captain or register to walk as an individual.
