Drop-in sessions for youth interested in playing hockey are being held from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 22 at the Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Drive in Columbus.

The cost is $5 for youth, ages 4 to 12, with free equipment available to use. No registration is required.

Drop-in sessions for speed skaters looking to work on their speed skating skills and the basics of racing also are being offered. Each session costs $15. The dates and times of those sessions are: 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Aug. 18; 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Aug. 25 and Sept. 1; 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Sept. 8; and 9 to 10:15 a.m. Sept. 15 and 22.
