The 1965 Seymour Boys’ Club nine and 10-year-old state championship basketball team. Seymour won the state tournament in Indianapolis after defeating Munice in the final game 21-16. The team had gained the state finals by winning the zone tourney one week before. Seymour defeated Warsaw 46-18, and Muncie beat Shelbyville 19-15 in first round action. In the championship, Clark paced the winners with eight points, Hammett had seven and Brown, Keck and Jim Franklin each scored two. Hammett led all scorers in the win over Warsaw with 22 points.
