Bonnie Irene England Brown, age 80, of Bedford, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018, at her residence.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora, where she sang in the church choir, served on the altar guild, and helped serve funeral dinners. She was also involved with the Mission Federation. Bonnie was a registered nurse and worked for Dr. William Blaisdell for numerous years. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, gardening, reading, crocheting, traveling, and cooking and preparing Sunday dinners for her family.

Born on February 5, 1938, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Earl and Ruby Wagoner England, both of whom preceded her in death. On March 23, 1955, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora, she married Ernest Brown and he preceded her in death on February 10, 2015.

Survivors include one son, Max (Angie) Brown of Seymour; two daughters: Vickie (Nick) Hubbard of Bedford, and Zirita (Michael) Roberts of Bedford; two brothers: Leslie (Sylvia) England of Medora, and Wilbur (Bonnie) England of Scipio; four sisters: twin sister, Betty (Aaron) Hume, Clara (Mike) Sears, Clarice (Harold) Persinger, and Pam Guthrie; 11 grandchildren: Nicole Bowman, Jessi Wheeler, Carly Bell, Carri Harper, Jacob Brown, Scott Brown, Stacy Brown, Kevin Moore, Rebecca Ruiz, Amanda Allman, and Ashley Brown; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Bonnie was also preceded in death by one son, Randy Brown; one grandson, Jared Hubbard; one sister, Barbara England Henderson; and two brothers-in-law: Winford Henderson, and Earl Guthrie.

Funeral services for Bonnie Irene England Brown will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Jack Belk officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Weddleville Lutheran Cemetery, Medora.

Memorials may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Medora, or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
