Mrs. Freda Margaret Ude, 92, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Lutheran Community Home in Seymour. She was born in Columbus on March 1, 1926 to the late George and Anna C. (Nolting) Krieg.

Funeral services will be at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:30 a.m., with Reverend Andrew Currao and Reverend Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, August 2nd from 4 to 8 p.m. and at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Friday after 9:30 am until time of service.

She was a graduate of Columbus High School, class of 1944. She worked at Cummins Engine Company from 1944-1951 as a secretary before becoming a homemaker. She married Donald Ude on May 29, 1949, whom passed away April 13, 2009. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she assisted with numerous funeral meals and belonged to Ladies Aid, Fellowship Group and LWML Quilters.

She is survived by her children, James K. (Rexanne) Ude, Jennifer L. (Duane) Habeck and Scott E. (Anita) Ude; grandchildren, Andrea R. (Jason) Bukowski, Blair C. (Josh) Mullins, Christine (Rick) Zimmerman, Rachael (Tracy) Helms, David (Jenna Nelson) Habeck and Jessica Luedeman; and great-grandchildren, Eli Krieg Bukowski, Henry Rex Bukowski, Carter Ann Mullins, Cooper Helms, Campton Helms, Crayton Helms, Clara Helms, Christoff Zimmerman, Charlotte Zimmerman and Jude Scott Howard.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Donald her husband of 60 years; brother, George Glenn Krieg; and sister, Bernice Obermueller.
