Erika Easterbrooks of Telluride, Colorado, won the junior grand showman award at the San Miguel County Fair in Colorado.

The 9-year-old is the daughter of Regan Tuttle, a Brownstown Central High School graduate, and granddaughter of Rebecca McKain, a Brownstown Central High School graduate now residing in Seymour.

Erika showed rabbits and goats this year in 4-H, winning showmanship for each. That qualified her to participate in the round robin competition for which she was required to also show beef, swine, lamb and horse.

As grand showman for the junior division, she was presented a belt buckle, a jacket and $100.
