The Waggin’ Pals 4-H Club conducted its annual 4-H dog show on July 14 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.
Club members and their dogs could participate in three events: Obedience, agility and showmanship.
There are around 20 members in the club who meet weekly to train and learn more about being a responsible pet owner.
Adult leaders for the club are Carol Newberry, Bill Steltenpohl, Elizabeth Smith, Suzanne Steltenpohl and Brittney Vetter.

This year, the club will perform a special demonstration showing off the skills, commands and tricks the dogs have learned in a routine set to music at 7:30 p.m. today in the new show arena.
