Mr. Everett Rex Earley, 88, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018, at home with his family by his side. He was born in Brazil, Indiana on August 1, 1929 to the late Alva and Mary (Forman) Earley.

Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Central Christian Church on Friday, July 6 at 10 am with Revs. Ben Yee and Jon Carlstrom officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with a flag presentation.

Family and friends may call at Central Christian Church on Thursday from 2-8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until time of service. A Masonic service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 pm.

He was a graduate of Medora High School, class of 1947. On June 17, 1950, he married Bonnie Louise Beavers; she preceded him in death on November 24, 2017. He was a member of Central Christian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a former member of Elks Lodge 462 and a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 61 years. His entire 70+ year career was spent in the veneer and timber procurement industry.

He is survived by his children, David (Rhonda) Earley, Rexanne (Jim) Ude, Joseph (Susan) Earley, Sara (Mark) Clark and Brian (Mary) Earley; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie Earley; and brother, Denver Earley.

Memorials may be written to Central Christian Church or Hospice of Schneck, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
