Mrs. Thelma Marie Hurless, 92, of Seymour, IN passed on June 16, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center.
Thelma was born in Three Oaks, MI, on May 16, 1926 to the late Bentzley Holmes and Della May (Barnes) Stickle.
On October 10, 1948, in Galien, MI, she married John Robert Hurless, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 12, 2016.
Mrs. Hurless was a member of the Central Christian Church of Seymour. She was a homemaker, avid in volunteer work, and a member of the NARFE Chapter 944.
Mrs. Hurless is survived by her children, John ( Diane) Hurless, Jr., Kenneth (Christine) Hurless, Kay (Glen) Alden, Robert (Rebecca) Hurless; grandchildren, Sara Hurless, Becky (Shane) Yates, Matt Hurless, Ryan (Emily) Hurless, Lisa (Duane) Jaeger, Kassie Alden, Robbie (Madison) Alden, Nick Hurless; and great-grandchildren, Lauren, Henry, Ashton, Makenley, Sam, Harper, and Andrew; brother, John Stickle.
She is preceded by her parents; great-grandson, Wesley Jaeger; sisters, Ardith Stickle, Doris Stick, and Leona Zwakenberg.
Funeral Service will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m with Rev. Ben Yee officiating; burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 12:00 (noon) until time of service.
