County library offers programming for teens

The Jackson County Public Library offers free programming for teens in grades 6 through 12 in the Teen Scene at the Seymour and Crothersville libraries.

Registration is required for some programs, and space is limited. Sign up at myjclibrary.org/events.

Seymour programs include:

  • 4 p.m. today and July 13: Retro gaming
  • 5:30 p.m. Monday: Music careers with disc jockey Drew Storey
  • 4 p.m. June 26 and July 31: Art Club (limit 20)
  • 1 p.m. July 7: Rockin’ movies: “Ray”
  • 4 p.m. July 10: STEM challenge (limit 20)
  • 5 p.m. July 11 and Aug. 1: Teen Advisory Group
  • 4 p.m. July 13: Retro gaming
  • 5 p.m. July 23: 1920s party

Crothersville programs include:

  • 4 p.m. June 27: Scratch art (limit 15)
  • 4 p.m. July 25: Canvas creation (limit 15)
