Brownstown Central High School’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes group has organized the Timeout Christian Concert for 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Park, 121 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

Local acts The Lasting Hope, Ben Lucas and Driven will perform.

The Lasting Hope is a Christian pop-rock band based in southern Indiana that has shared the stage with artists such as Toby Mac, MercyMe, Mandisa and others.

Lucas will follow with his own take of the Gospel, while Driven, a popular Christian group based in the Brownstown and Seymour area, will wrap up the concert.

There also will be food, games, bouncy houses, dunk tanks, T-shirts and more.

Everyone is invited to attend the free concert and bring their lawn chairs. Organizers are pushing for teens to attend, as the goal is to have students from all over join together for one night.

Driftwood Christian Church, Seymour Christian Church and Mount Zion United Methodist Church have provided support to make the concert a success.
