Ladies Aid 3

Ladies Aid 3 met May 15 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

The meeting was opened by President Jane Pardieck. The group read Psalm 139, 1-14, followed by the singing of the first two verses of Hymn 496.

The minutes for the March and April meeting were approved by a motion from Carlana Able and seconded by Linda Kamman, and the motion was passed.

Roll call was answered by 19 members. Betty Hanna was a guest.

The treasurer’s report was given by Rosalie Grabinski and was approved.

Kamman reported on the cheer committee, and eight cards had been sent to members.

Brenda Snyder and Able reported on March visits, and Pat Weasner and Jan Behrens reported on April visits.

Sandi Helwig reported April 4 vendors that received requests for craft show booths, and there are 77 repeat vendors and 11 others, six new. Cards were passed to give to possible new vendors. A new sign has been purchased for advertisement for the craft show.

Members went to the history room to view a display case, which the aid had decided to purchase as a gift in honor of the 100th anniversary of the group. Grabinski made a motion to purchase a display case, and Helwig seconded the motion. Members voted, and the motion was passed.

The meeting closed with the Lord’s Prayer.
