BROWNSTOWN
James Allan Stuart, 57, of Brownstown passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Methodist Hospital.
Born July 24, 1960, in Big Springs, Texas, at USAF Hospital, he was the son of Lt. Col. John Franklin and Gertrude Hope Wells Stuart.
James loved music and was an avid Neil Young fan. He enjoyed nature, mushroom hunting and rock hunting. He attended Ivy Tech and earned an associate degree in electronics.
Survivors include his son, Christopher Neil Stuart and fiancee Shannon Remmert of Indianapolis; his close friend, Rick Hamilton of Brownstown; one brother and two sisters, all of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, John W. Stuart.
A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
