State Street Community Worship Center is hosting Community Appreciation Day from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church, 104 S. State St., North Vernon.
There will be free food while supplies last and a variety of free events, including the contemporary group Anonamous and southern gospel group The Singing Evangels, a bouncy house and community organization booths. There also will be a bake walk for 50 cents per walk.
