Robert Dale “Trapper” Trapp, 71, of Brownstown passed away at his home.
He was born in Seymour on Nov. 8, 1946, to the late Donald and Viola Jackson Trapp.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was an adventurous person who enjoyed riding horses, his Harley-Davidsson motorcycles, old cars and camping in his later years. He also was a very musical person who loved playing his banjo, fiddle and accordion.
He is survived by his son, Corey Trapp; sister, Donna Starr; and nieces, Peggy (Jeff) Brewer, Penny (Mike) Jones and Crystal (Chris) Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Mike Starr.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47 and Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
