SEYMOUR
Mr. Donald L. Tatlock, 87, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Jackson County on November 29, 1930 to the late Kerry and Marie Wolff Tatlock.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, May 25 at 11 am with Rev. Ben Yee officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-7 pm and on Friday from 10 am until time of service.
He attended Central Christian Church. He had served in the National Guard. In September 1949 at Brownstown Christian Church, he married Betty Waskom; she survives. He retired from Cummins after 30 years of service. He served on the Seymour Historical Society as he enjoyed doing family history and genealogy. He was also a Bluegrass music promoter in Southern Indiana.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty June Tatlock; sons, Rodney L. (Teresa) Tatlock, Gregory L. (Cindy) Tatlock, and Evan G. (Linda) Tatlock; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Tatlock; and sisters-in-law, Shelby Johnson and Debbie Abbott.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark D. Tatlock; grandson, Matthew Tatlock; brothers, Melvin Tatlock and Gerald Tatlock; and sisters, Doris Lee and Helen Harbin.
