Vallonia man begins new post with Duke

A Vallonia man began serving large business accounts for Duke Energy Indiana on May 21.

Clay Fritz, who worked for Brownstown Electric Supply Co. for the past 17 years, will serve accounts in a newly drawn territory in Duke Energy Indiana’s south region.

“Clay’s leadership and experience with interfacing directly with large investor-owned utilities, wholesale and municipal customers throughout the country, combined with his knowledge of equipment, products and services critical to our industry, will be a valuable addition to our team and our customers,” said Kristie McKillip, Duke Energy director of large account management in Indiana.

Fritz, who earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Southern Indiana, lives in Vallonia with his wife and four children.

Duke Energy Indiana’s operations provide about 6,700 megawatts of owned electricity to about 820,000 customers in a 23,000-square-mile service area.
