Seymour sports camps signups

Seymour high school will host several athletics camps this summer for incoming kindergartens to high school seniors.

Sports include: baseball, basketball, boys and girls soccer, softball, tennis, volleyball, football and gymnastics.

Signups are online at shs.scsc.k12.in.us/athletics.

Brownstown to host girls basketball camp

Brownstown Central will host three girls basketball camps at the high school starting May 30 and ending June 9.

From May 29 to June 7, incoming third, fourth and fifth-graders will take the court from noon to 1:30 p.m. Incoming sixth and seventh graders will then go from 1:30 to 3 while eighth graders will go to work from 3 to 5.

The camps will work on fundamentals and implementing offenses and defenses that the players will use in the future.

On June 7 there will be a camp challenge night from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Incoming sixth, seventh and eighth-graders will play three games on June 13 at Corydon. The players will travel by bus.

Cost is $30, and every player will receive a T-shirt.

Trinity Lutheran camps signups

Trinity Lutheran High School will be hosting volleyball, girls basketball, boys basketball, cheerleading and football camps this summer.

Volleyball, girls basketball and boys basketball will have second through fifth grade and sixth through eighth grade sessions. Cheerleading will two groups: 3-years-old to kindergarten and first through sixth grade. Football is open to fifth through eighth-graders.

Campers can register at the school’s main office or by mail until the first day of camp. On the first day, registration may be at the camp’s location. ALl camps will be on Trinity’s campus.
