BROWNSTOWN
Lawrence Ray Meadors, 76, of Brownstown, died at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his home. He had been ill for 9 years. He had been a truck driver and a fork lift operator. Lawrence loved spending time with his dogs and his grandchildren.
He was born on May 13, 1941 in Crothersville to the late Mary Alvina “Jessie” Spall Meadors and Albert Lewis Meadors. On November 4, 1961 in Brownstown, IN, he married Oleva Pray Meadors and she preceded in death. Survivors include his children, Timothy Meadors, Tracy Henrikson, Thomas Alan Meadors, Tina (Harold) Wheeler, Tony (Gail) Meadors, Todd Meadors, Tamara (Boyd) Brewer, & Thomas Meadors; grandchildren, Zachary & Brittany Taylor, Stephen, Candace & Jessica Henrikson, Brandon, Kira & Kyle Boling, Brittany & Mercedes Meadors, Kevin Reynolds, Kaula & Sara Beth Meadors; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Bessie (Curt) Lush.
He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, Tommy Jo Meadors; and brothers, Terry & Jerry Meadors.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia with Pastor John officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday, May 16th from 4-8 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery, Brownstown. Memorial contributions may be given to Johnson Funeral Home.
