SEYMOUR
Arnell Selma Rothert, 86, of Seymour passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, at her residence.
Born Feb. 19, 1932, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Edward and Selma Rieckers Wehmiller, both of whom preceded her in death. On Nov. 27, 1949, she married Carroll Rothert, and he preceded her in death July 23, 1999.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Sauers and was a homemaker. She was a great cook and enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and playing cards with her friends.
Survivors include one son, Marlin Lee (Roleen) Rothert of Seymour; one daughter, Kathy Ann (Paul) Trotta of Columbus; two grandchildren, Nathan Rothert of Seymour and Nicole (Jason) Werling of Pendleton; and three great-grandchildren, Matthew Rothert, Isabella Rothert and Lily Werling.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sauers with Pastor Craig Muhlbach officiating. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Interment will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sauers Cemetery in Seymour.
