Knitting, crocheting planned at local libraries

0

Beginners can learn to knit or crochet and advanced yarn-crafters can work on their projects together during Needle Arts at 10 a.m. Thursday and May 24 at the Crothersville Library or at Knit & Crochet Night at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and May 24 at the Seymour Library.

Crothersville Library participants also are encouraged to bring quilting, cross-stitch or latch/rug hooking projects.

These free drop-in programs meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of most months. The libraries are at 120 W. Main St., Crothersville, and 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Beginners should bring short size 7 or 8 knitting needles or a size J or K crochet hook and a ball of regular worsted weight yarn to begin to learn either craft.

Experienced yarn-crafters may bring their current projects or try new knit or crochet patterns furnished to the group.
