Faye I. Hendershot, 86, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, April 02, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Madison County on January 2, 1932 to Noble and Dorothy L. (Ryan) Hendershot.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 4 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Brien Stout officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday from 2 pm until time of service.

In 2015, Faye participated in Special Olympics where she competed in several events and was recognized as one of the oldest athletes. She loved to work puzzles, color beautiful pictures and do volunteer work. Faye’s housemates, Faith Osborne, Ralph Monroe and Charlotte Greasham will miss her greatly. She will also be missed by the house staff that took such great care of her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Alta Moser; brother, Tad Hendershot; and a niece, Jean Ann Thompson.
