Microsoft Word program scheduled at library

A program to help users understand and use Microsoft Word will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brownstown Public Library, 120 W. Spring St.

Participants will learn the following steps: Starting a new document; selecting text; changing text size and font; changing text to bold, italicize or underline; copying and pasting text; printing documents; text layout, including how to center, left align and right align; creating numbered or bullets lists; saving documents; and opening saved documents.

Those planning to participate are being asked to bring their own computer. If you do not have one, there will be one available.

Registration is requested and may be done at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.

The free class, conducted by adult services coordinator Natasha Perry, is open to the public.
