Anthony “Tony” Taylor, 58, of Seymour passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born October 8, 1959 in Columbus to the late Gerald F. and Gloria F. (Pierce) Taylor.

He was a graduate of Seymour High School, class of 1978. He had worked as a mortgage lender and at Stearns Plumbing as a counter clerk. He was an avid Yankees baseball and IU basketball fan. He enjoyed fishing, playing Euchre, family gatherings, grilling out and spending time with his beautiful daughter that he cherished.

Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, February 3 at 1 pm with Rev. Matt Jung officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 11 am until time of service.

Memorials may be written to Judy Heath to help offset funeral expenses, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

He is survived by his daughter, Macy Layne Taylor; brothers, Alan Taylor and Chris (Karen) Taylor; sisters, Judy (Glenn) Heath, Elizabeth (Paul) Eder and Teresa (Randy) Von Hoene; and special aunt and uncle, Ken and Kay Miller.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Aimee (Speckner) Taylor; and brother, Robert Taylor.
