LINTON

Linda Kay Brown, 68, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 10:50 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute. She was born in Linton on June 7, 1949, the daughter of Edward Kramer & Bessie (Oliver) Kramer.

Linda was a 1967 graduate from Linton-Stockton High School. She married Thomas F. Brown on November 4, 1967 at Saron United Church of Christ.

Linda worked briefly at Walmart and Goody’s, but spent the majority of her life dedicated to her family. She enjoyed volunteering and served as a Girl Scout Leader for many years. She spent her free time loving and enjoying her family.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Brown of Linton, two daughters, Amy (Lewis) Heideman of Seymour and Karen Brown of Linton, and her granddaughter, Andrea Heideman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her two sisters, Hazel (Del) Burris and Doris Kramer.

Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, with James Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
