Brownstown Central Community School Corp. has announced information about meetings Tuesday night at Brownstown Elementary School, 612 S. Base Road.

The board of trustees will participate in a work session at 6:30 p.m. It’s open to the public.

The board then will meet in executive session at 7 p.m. to receive information about prospective employees and discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction. That will be a closed meeting.

At 7:20 p.m., the board of finance will meet to organize for 2018 and hear a report of 2017 investments.

Then at 7:30 p.m., the board of trustees’ regular monthly meeting will be conducted. That will include a public hearing for the high school construction project, and trustees will consider several resolutions, including reapproving the formation of the Brownstown District School Building Corp. board of directors.

The board also will consider approval for Ice Miller LLP to serve as bond counsel and Damian Maggos of George K. Baum & Co. to be bond underwriters for this year’s building project.

The latter two meetings are open to the public.
