SEYMOUR

Michael E. Taskey, Sr., 54, of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. He was born on July 14, 1963, in Seymour, to Aaron and Sarah (Hauersperger) Taskey, Sr.

He graduated from Seymour High School, class of 1981. He was owner/operator of Taskey Automotive in Seymour. He was a member of Moose Lodge. He enjoyed baseball and traveling. He also enjoyed hunting for deer and turkey.

He is survived by his mother; companion and love of his life, Teresa Taskey; children, Brittani Taskey Wilson and Michael Taskey, Jr.; stepdaughter, Nicole Jackson; brothers, Aaron “Butch” (Robin) Taskey and Stanley (Karen) Taskey; and sisters, Jacqueline Stout, Sally Helton and Holly (Craig) Montgomery.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Family and friends may call at White River Valley Conservation Club on Saturday, January 6, from 4-7 pm.
