Dr. Daniel Walters and certified clinical medical assistant Robin Haskell Campbell recently were recognized as 2017 S.E.R.V.I.C.E. Award winners in the southern region of Indiana for Activate Healthcare.

The Seymour residents were chosen by other Activate Healthcare associates as outstanding associates from a pool of 34 nominees, according to a news release.

Walters is the physician at the Activate Health & Wellness Center that serves employees and families of Seymour Tubing and Seymour Community Schools.

Campbell is the supervising medical assistant for the southern region and supports all Activate Health & Wellness Centers in southern Indiana, including the clinics that serve Aisin, Seymour Tubing and Seymour Community Schools.

Activate associates nominate S.E.R.V.I.C.E. Award candidates, and all associates vote for the winners.

The awards are given to associates who demonstrate the Activate values, which spell the word service: Steward resources; empower patients and those that serve them; respect and compassion; value the uniqueness of each person we touch; integrity; continuously improve; and excel at teamwork.

Walters and Campbell were presented their awards at a regional meeting in December.

Activate Healthcare is a health care provider founded in 2009 and based in Indianapolis.
