This month’s gallery exhibit at Southern Indiana Center for the Arts, in partnership with Edward Jones Seymour offices, features art from local and regional artists.
The annual judged show brings in artworks of oil and acrylic paints, chalk and charcoal pastels, drawing pencils, scratchboard, photography and pottery.
The free exhibit will be featured through Tuesday. Edward Jones Seymour offices have sponsored the annual judged show for more than 10 years. A special award from the sponsor will be given in addition to other awards.
A meet-and-greet will be from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the arts center, 2001 N. Ewing St., Seymour. Much of the original artwork is for sale. Purchases support the artist and the arts center.
SICA’s hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
