Bluegrass, gospel concerts planned

Free bluegrass and gospel music shows have been planned for all three nights of the 45th annual Seymour Oktoberfest.

On Oct. 5, bands scheduled to perform are Monday Night Special and Deer Creek.

On Oct. 6, Liberty Hill, Hallelujah Hillbillies and Midwest Station will perform.

Then Oct. 7, Infinity, Hoosier Hills and Alley Katz-N-Jammers are scheduled to perform.

The shows begin at 7 p.m. each day on the stage on Chestnut Street north of Tipton Street.

Some bleacher seating will be available, but the public may bring their own lawn chairs.

Don “D.L.” Tatlock will be the emcee for the shows, KingSnake will provide the sound and entertainment chairman is Eric DiBlasi.
