In the consolation bracket of the Hoosier Hills Conference, Seymour defeated Madison 5-0 on Wednesday.
Ty McCory defeated Jeremy Huff 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, Adam Berry took No. 2 singles 6-0, 6-0 against Cooper Yancey, and Isaac Hardin won 6-2, 6-3 against Haniah Kring at No. 3 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of Sam Schmidt and Will Rinehart claimed a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Quinten Humes and Gabe True while Pablo Jimenez and Brandon Hubbard defeated Ben Hardin and Dalton Owen 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
The Owls (7-5) will host Shelbyville tonight. They play Bedford North Lawrence on Friday for their final HHC placement match.
