The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting Sept. 5 in the fellowship hall of the Seymour church.
President Jackie Hill opened the meeting.
Pastor Philip Bloch spoke on the Martin Luther movie “Reformation,” the effects on our lives and the Luther rose. The reformation service will be at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Lisa Lewis spoke about the cookie walk, which is scheduled for Dec. 2.
Connie Roeder led a discussion about nuts the group will be selling in November. Varieties available will be pecan (whole and pieces), walnuts, cashews and mixed nuts.
The tables were decorated in autumn colors and candy corn. Spice cake was served.
Linda Eggersman led the group in the Lord’s Prayer.
Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Kathy Smith, Pam Rodriguez and Nancy Terkhorn.
