Reserve Officer Charlie Murphy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department plans to present a program about how to start a neighborhood watch from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 19 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
A neighborhood watch is one way citizens can promote safety in their neighborhoods, according to a news release from the library.
