The seventh annual Raptor Rendezvous will be from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Abe Martin Lodge in Brown County State Park.
Organized by the Indiana Raptor Center, the event includes an afternoon snack buffet, a cash bar, a silent auction, a program with live birds of prey and a photo opportunity after the program.
The program has been streamlined and the agenda rearranged so the silent auction ends before the bird program starts to allow people to leave as needed.
Indiana Raptor Center birds to be shown this year are new additions. Birds from the center, WildCare and Utopia Wildlife Rehabilitators will be in attendance.
Tickets are $30 and can be purchased by calling 812-988-8990, using PayPal at indianaraptorcener.org or mailing a check to Indiana Raptor Center, P.O. Box 1153, Nashville, IN 47448. If paying by check or PayPal, indicate that payment is for tickets. Tickets allow holders free access to the state park for the event. Seating is limited.
