The Crothersville Parks Board is hosting an all-terrain vehicle, utility task vehicle and Jeep ride Saturday.
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. at Bard Street Park in Crothersville. There will be a driver’s meeting at 11:45 a.m., followed by the ride at noon.
The ride will travel on county roads from Crothersville to Sparksville and back with a pit stop in Medora. It should end between 4:30 and 5 p.m.
Fees are $15 for ATVs and UTVs, and $20 for Jeeps.
Food and entertainment after the ride will be included in the ride fee. If you do not want to participate in the ride, you still can partake in the food and entertainment at Bard Street Park for a donation. Marcus Pride will perform classic country music.
There will be a 50/50 raffle with a donation of $2 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased before or after the ride, and you don’t have to be present at drawing time to win.
Donation buckets also will be available for those wishing to contribute to the parks board’s efforts in town.
Participants may bring coolers on the ride and to the park after the ride. No alcoholic drinks are allowed before or during the ride.
Crothersville ATV/UTV permits are waived for the day of the ride, but participants will need to be registered with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
